Otakon Weekend...
Friday
Friday morning, I woke up and finished packing my stuff. Meryl picked me up around 10:00am and we got there around 10:15 - 10:30 we walked around till 11:30 and her Mom came back with our costumes. Because we weren't allowed to check into the hotel until 3:00, we had to change in the parking garage. I was Inuyasha and Meryl was Sango. (^_^) We walked into the convention center, and played in the Dealer's Room, ventured to the AMV's and other stuff. We had our pictures taken atleast 30 times or more. We ended up leaving to go to Hooters for dinner. We walked from the hotel to Hooters in cosplay and everyone stared. Muwha...but other people from the convention were there ^_^ We walked back, and went to the Resident Evil panel, and ventured all around again.
We took lots of pictures of everyone and ourselves, so once I have them on the computer I will post them. We went back to the hotel around 9-10ish and changed into normal clothes, and went to the Rave/Dance. We didn't stay very long, and we ended up venturing to the hotel to shower and play Tekken 4.
Saturday
I was dressed as Robin Sena from Witch Hunter Robin and Meryl as Miyu from Vampire Princess Miyu. Because we woke up late, and it took so long to do our costume hair, we just peered in and out of panels and workshops, sat down and relaxed till 3:25 and we ran back to the hotel to put our stuff away to go to the L'Arc~en~Ciel concert. The line wait was 2 almost 3 hours. And it was really really really hot. And my costume was really hot -____- but it was worth the wait <3 I had a wonderful time, and there music is better in person. All you L'Arc fans this was their only USA concert ::tear:: After that we changed and went out to Kawasaki for Sushi ^_^ After that we got in our Yuki and Kyo hats (From Fruits Basket) and grabbed our plushies headed for the Con again. We watched Fruits Baskets and headed for the gaming room. We played Tekken 4 I almost got a perfect on someone but I didn't ::sad anime face:: I met Li! (A friend from Blurty) playing DDR we chatted and ended up watching the rest of Fruits Basket. Till Otakon closed for the night. We tried to get into the yaoi hentai movies but... we couldn't find any. But I am going to buy some from anime castle. ^_^ wo0tin-t00tin. Hmmmm...
Sunday
Today has been a sad day. The final day of Otakon. I dressed as Wolfwood from Trigun and Meryl as Vash the Stampede from Trigun. I had my cross and everything. ^_^ It rained so we had to run into the convention center -_O We walked around in the Dealer's Room for the final time. And We had our pictures taken a lot today too. We didn't do anything really but walk around. After that we went out to lunch, and headed home. It was one of the best weekend of my life. I am still in an Otakon high. I came with 180 dollars and left with 10 time to start the Otakon 2005 fund. Also We are going to Anime USA on Halloween Weekend, and Nekocon the weekend before my birthday. wo0t. Josh maybe coming too!~!
Alright time to finish laundry and unpacking.
There is a lot of stuff I forgot to write about, but yes.
